Harmony and Peace
May 14 & 15, 2011

Our spring concert explores the meaning of a life of peace — with self, with the Divine, with others. We will perform Sure on this Shining Night by Morten Lauridsen, Beati QuorumVia by Charles Villiers Stanford, Steven Chatman’s Thou Whose Harmony is the Music of the Spheres, Randall Stroope’s Caritas et Amor and Amor di me Alma, and This Marriage by Eric Whitacre. We’ll even throw in some peaceful and fun jazz arrangements! Join us for these works that inspire and challenge us to create love and harmony in our own lives and the lives of others.
